Japanese brand Jackman was founded in 1949 by baseball fanatic Mitsugu Tanabe. His passion for American baseball drove him to produce the stockings for the fledgling Japanese baseball scene, and it wasn’t long until Mr. Tanabe began producing the Nippon League’s first official uniforms and mitts. Fast forward, Jackman now produces some of the finest sportswear inspired basics we have ever laid eyes on. Each piece is still crafted in the original factory, on original vintage machines. Although the pace is slower than modern machines, the quality still endures.
