Vintage 80s USMC ERDL 2nd Generation Camo Hot Weather Combat Coat S LongRegular price £95.00 GBP
This is a vintage United States Marine Corps (USMC) ERDL 2nd generation leaf camouflage pattern hot weather combat coat, made from a tough and durable ripstop fabric, which was made to last. USMC chest pocket print, including the Eagle, Globe and Anchor. Made in the USA by SAF-T-BAK, Inc. The label dates this jacket to 1981.
The ERDL pattern, also known as the Leaf pattern is a camouflage pattern developed by the United States Army at its Engineer Research & Development Laboratories (ERDL) in 1948. It was not used until the Vietnam War, when it was issued to elite reconnaissance and special operations units. This 2nd Generation ERDL uniform was primarily distributed to members of the Rapid Deployment Force and the USMC (along with some special operations personnel), but was officially only in production from 1979 to 1981.
Used and in good vintage condition with general signs of wear, abrasion and discolouration throughout. This jacket has a great washed worn look. Freshly laundered and ready for a new owner.
All my vintage listings unless otherwise stated are true vintage and have been worn before, therefore they will typically show signs of wear, which is all part of the vintage look and appeal.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE: Please DO NOT solely rely on the listed size for your correct fit. Designers often use different measurements for sizes depending on the overall look they desire, so sizes can not only vary from brand to brand but also within the same brand. Also, for vintage and pre-worn items the shape may have changed after years of being worn. The best way to ensure your correct fit is to compare the measurements listed to a similar item that fits you well.
