The earliest camouflage pattern developed by Austria was introduced in 1957, and is often referred to in English as the "pea pattern." The Austrian design consists of dark maroon, mauve, and pea green dots and blotches on a pinkish-grey field. This version consists of the 2nd pattern design that came into circulation from 1961 and continued on until the 70s and is date stamped 1965 on the inside lining of this jacket. This early Austrian field jacket was often referred to as the Kampfanzug.
Used and in good vintage condition considering the age, with general signs of wear and abrasion throughout. The jacket has a great washed look to it which gives it bags of character. Freshly laundered and ready for its new owner.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE: Please DO NOT solely rely on the listed size for your correct fit. Designers often use different measurements for sizes depending on the overall look they desire, so sizes can not only vary brand to brand but also within the same brand. Also, for vintage and pre-worn items the shape may have changed after years of being worn. The best way to ensure your correct fit is to compare the measurements listed to a similar item that fits you well.
