This is a pair of A-9 US Army Air Forces Alpaca Lined Flight Pants. A heavy duty piece of kit, these are guaranteed to help beat the elements. The label details date these pants to the 1940s WWII era. Made by OLDIN-DENNIS.
In 1942 Henry (Hap) Arnold, General of the US Army Air Forces demanded that the costly sheepskin leather flight clothing be replaced with something more durable. The resulting flight uniforms featured a rugged cotton shell and a warm alpaca pile lining. The a-9 flight pants were designed to be worn with the the B-10 jacket.
Used and in fair to good vintage condition considering the age, with general signs of use and marks throughout from use. There is a split to the fabric above the right (as worn) leg zip pocket edge, where it covers a concealed metal strip.
All my vintage listings unless otherwise stated are true vintage and have been worn before, therefore they will typically show signs of wear and will not smell like new, which is all part of the vintage look and appeal.

Designers often use different measurements for sizes depending on the overall look they desire, so sizes can not only vary brand to brand but also within the same brand. Also, for vintage and pre-worn items the shape may have changed after years of being worn. The best way to ensure your correct fit is to compare the measurements listed to a similar item that fits you well.
