Schott NYC (Schott Bros) located in New York USA, was founded in 1913 by brothers Irving and Jack Schott. They were the first company to put a zipper on a jacket, created the classic Perfecto biker jacket, and made clothing for the US Armed Forces during WWII. Schott is still owned by the Schott family and still manufactures much of their clothing in the United States.
ThIs Vintage circa 1980s / 90s Schott Perfecto 118 Jacket is nothing short of Iconic. Older versions were worn by the likes of the world renowned punk band ‘Ramones’. This jacket has earned its iconic status due to its rebellious characteristics. It’s the body armour of punk for when you're out on stage ripping into some jaw dropping chords. A jacket not to be sniffed at. Made in the USA.
Used and in very good vintage condition with general signs of wear and abrasion. There is some distressing to the internal lining towards the hem as well as the velcro tab in the internal patch pocket having come away. Still a great jacket that is nicely broken in and ready for another crack at life.
All our vintage listings unless otherwise stated are true vintage and have been worn before, therefore they will typically show signs of wear and will not smell like new, which is all part of the vintage look and appeal.

Designers often use different measurements for sizes depending on the overall look they desire, so sizes can not only vary brand to brand but also within the same brand. Also, for vintage and pre-worn items the shape may have changed after years of being worn. The best way to ensure your correct fit is to compare the measurements listed to a similar item that fits you well.
