For SS23 TSPTR focuses on the growth of jogging as a recreational activity in the sphere of 1970's West Coast American society. Following the publishing of the 1967 book 'Jogging', written by University of Oregon track coach Bill Bowerman, the subsequent founder of NIKE, consolidated jogging as a pinnacle of West Coast culture in 1977 with his renowned 'Western Athletic' running team. During the early 1970s Charles Schulz's Peanuts strip incorporated more and more references to those most archetypal of West Coast hobbies including that new activity called jogging.
In official collaboration with Peanuts Products, TSPTR have borrowed graphics from Peanuts strips to explore this theme of the 'Aesthetics West'. Made in Portugal, this is presented using water based ink on a premium 100% organic cotton tee.
