Vintage 50s M-1951 Korean War US Army Field Jacket OG-107 Olive Green XL

The M-1951 field jacket was a US Army four pocket jacket made of 9-ounce wind resistant water repellent treated cotton sateen cloth in Olive Green Shade 107 (OG 107). It was based on the M-1943 field jacket that was replaced by the similar M-1950 field jacket that had inside buttons for a button-in liner. The M-1951 was given snap fasteners instead of buttons and a zipper.

This is a vintage US Army M-1951 OG-107 Wind Resistant jacket with a Talon aluminium front zipper and original detachable liner. Made in the USA. The internal labels are missing.

Used and in good vintage condition considering its age with general signs of wear, abrasion, discolouration and marks throughout. There is fraying to both cuffs as well as small holes and tears to the attached internal liner. This is the real deal with bags of character. Freshly laundered and ready for its new owner.

SIZE: No size label and this fits like XL (UK Sizing) with a 52in full external chest and the overall fit - but it depends how loose you like to wear (please see below for all key measurements to check against a similar garment of your own to ensure a good fit).

C - SHOULDER - distance between shoulder seams straight across at the back: 22in (55.5cm)

D - LENGTH - at the centre back from the base of the collar to the hem: 32in (81cm)
