Vintage 70s Carhartt Michigan Blanket Lined Tan Brown Worker Chore Jacket S / MRegular price £145.00 GBP
When Carhartt was founded in 1889, Hamilton Carhartt spoke about the role of a responsible business, doing "the just and honest thing, gainful if possible". These core principles have underpinned Carhartt's approach to workwear from the very beginning and continues today.
This is a vintage Carhartt - Made in USA - blanket lined duck cotton canvas workwear jacket, with four patch pockets and a cord collar. The buttons date this to the 1970s.
Used and in fair to good vintage condition with general heavy signs of wear, abrasion, and discolouration/ marks throughout. There is heavy bobbling to the lining and there has been a stitch repair to the upper front placket area of the lining. Freshly laundered and ready for its new owner this jacket has a great well worn washed look and is around 50 years old.
All my vintage listings unless otherwise stated are true vintage and have been worn before, therefore they will typically show signs of wear, which is all part of the vintage look and appeal.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE: Please DO NOT solely rely on the listed size for your correct fit. Designers often use different measurements for sizes depending on the overall look they desire, so sizes can not only vary from brand to brand but also within the same brand. Also, for vintage and pre-worn items the shape may have changed after years of being worn. The best way to ensure your correct fit is to compare the measurements listed to a similar item that fits you well.
EXTERNAL MEASUREMENTS: Please check against a similar garment of your own that fits you well, measuring flat and fully zipped or buttoned up (if applicable) on a flat surface:
