When Carhartt was founded in 1889, Hamilton Carhartt spoke about the role of a responsible business, doing "the just and honest thing, gainful if possible". These core principles have underpinned Carhartt's approach to workwear from the very beginning and continues today.
This is a vintage Carhartt - Made in USA - blanket lined duck cotton canvas workwear jacket, with four patch pockets and a cord collar. The front label and buttons date this jacket to 1989, which is when they celebrated the 100 years anniversary of Carhartt. A great looking vintage jacket with bags of character.
Used and in fair to good vintage condition with general heavy signs of wear, abrasion, and discolouration throughout. There is heavy bobbling to the lining and fraying to the cuff ends and hemline. The back neck label has faded and split. Freshly laundered and ready for its new owner.
All my vintage listings unless otherwise stated are true vintage and have been worn before, therefore they will typically show signs of wear, which is all part of the vintage look and appeal.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE: Please DO NOT solely rely on the listed size for your correct fit. Designers often use different measurements for sizes depending on the overall look they desire, so sizes can not only vary from brand to brand but also within the same brand. Also, for vintage and pre-worn items the shape may have changed after years of being worn. The best way to ensure your correct fit is to compare the measurements listed to a similar item that fits you well.
EXTERNAL MEASUREMENTS: Please check against a similar garment of your own that fits you well, measuring flat and fully zipped or buttoned up (if applicable) on a flat surface:
