Vintage Barbour A130 Spey Fishing Wax Cotton Green Jacket Made In England MRegular price £345.00 GBP
John Barbour, founded J.Barbour and Sons Ltd in South Shields, North of England, in 1894 and started out as an importer of oil cloth. Barbour was the originator of waxed cotton motorcycle suits and jackets and are synonymous with high quality waxed and quilted outdoor jackets and apparel.
This is a vintage Barbour A130 Spey fishing wax cotton jacket. The Spey jacket was released for the purpose of fly fishing and features a unique short and wide silhouette.
Used and in good vintage condition with general signs of wear, discolouration, abrasion and some small marks throughout. Part of the back neck label has been cut out. There is a tiny hole to the back right arm (as worn). Nicely broken in with bags of character ready for a new owner.
Please note wax cotton has a unique smell even when new, and over time for a vintage jacket this can become a stronger, more enhanced smell. PLEASE BE AWARE - If you have never had a wax jacket and are unfamiliar with the type of smell then we would not recommend buying a used or vintage wax jacket.
All our vintage listings unless otherwise stated are true vintage and have been worn before, therefore they will typically show signs of wear and will not smell like new, which is all part of the vintage look and appeal.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE: Please DO NOT solely rely on the listed size for your correct fit. Designers often use different measurements for sizes depending on the overall look they desire, so sizes can not only vary brand to brand but also within the same brand. Also, for vintage and pre-worn items the shape may have changed after years of being worn. The best way to ensure your correct fit is to compare the measurements listed to a similar item that fits you well.
EXTERNAL MEASUREMENTS: Please check against a similar garment of your own that fits you well, measuring flat and fully zipped or buttoned up (if applicable) on a flat surface:
