Henri Lloyd is a British clothing brand, established in Manchester in 1963 by Henri Strzelecki and Angus Lloyd, that specialised in sailing apparel and fashion for men and women. Strzelecki was a soldier in the Polish Army during World War II and he settled in Manchester at the end of the war.
Milan Scooter Society, The Paninari, adopted the Henri Lloyd Consort Original sailing jacket as their uniform back in 1984. As worn by Sir Francis Chichester on his epic voyage, the Henri Lloyd Consort Original sailing jacket becomes the look of uber-cool Paninari and flipped the company into the world of international fashion.
This is one of Henri Lloyd's first products, a vintage Consort Original Round The World Race crown proof bri nylon jacket with hand taped seams making it waterproof, and fully quilt lined with a light wadding. Made in Manchester, England.
Used and in good vintage condition with general signs of wear and some small marks to the arms and front hem area. There is a tiny 2mm hole to the left (as worn) inner arm seam and another 2mm hole near the left hem side seam.
All my vintage listings unless otherwise stated are true vintage and have been worn before, therefore they will typically show signs of wear and will not smell like new, which is all part of the vintage look and appeal.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE: Please DO NOT solely rely on the listed size for your correct fit. Designers often use different measurements for sizes depending on the overall look they desire, so sizes can not only vary brand to brand but also within the same brand. Also, for vintage and pre-worn items the shape may have changed after years of being worn. The best way to ensure your correct fit is to compare the measurements listed to a similar item that fits you well.
EXTERNAL MEASUREMENTS: Please check against a similar garment of your own that fits you well, measuring flat and fully zipped or buttoned up (if applicable) on a flat surface:
