Mighty Mac Out O' Gloucester — or Mighty Mac for short started in 1909. Their clothing functions as a mixture of hard wearing workwear and nautical design. Instead of a plethora of denim and leather, as most workwear labels would have, Mighty Mac specialised in windbreakers, overcoats, and parkas. The brand always experimented with practicality, from item-specific pockets, packable garments, and zippers featuring a unique T-bar so that you could zip up with gloves on.
This is a Vintage Mighty Mac Brown Cord Deck Style Jacket. A nautical style jacket with a thick cord outer shell, a generous sherpa fleece lining and a heavy duty Talon aluminium two way zip front. A unique jacket with a great heritage and bags of character.
Used and in fair to good vintage condition with general signs of wear, abrasion and discolouration throughout. One tooth is missing in the front zip but as this is a sturdy zip it has not affected the zip action. The button cinch waist is unfortunately missing the extra button from either side, however this does not detract from the character of the jacket. Freshly laundered and ready for a new owner.
All our vintage listings unless otherwise stated are true vintage and have been worn before, therefore they will typically show signs of wear, which is all part of the vintage look and appeal.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE: Please DO NOT solely rely on the listed size for your correct fit. Designers often use different measurements for sizes depending on the overall look they desire, so sizes can not only vary from brand to brand but also within the same brand. Also, for vintage and pre-worn items the shape may have changed after years of being worn. The best way to ensure your correct fit is to compare the measurements listed to a similar item that fits you well.
EXTERNAL MEASUREMENTS: Please check against a similar garment of your own that fits you well, measuring flat and fully zipped or buttoned up (if applicable) on a flat surface:
